Your trust matters to us. Here's a plain-English summary of how BookLaunchWizard handles your information. BookLaunchWizard is operated by Pamsam Enterprises LLC, based in Dallas, Texas, USA.
What we collect
Your account details (such as your name and email address), and the project content you create or upload: manuscripts and documents, images and artwork, covers, audio, voice recordings you choose to submit for a voice clone, and project settings. We also keep basic records of purchases, plan status and AI-credit usage, and the support messages you send us.
How we use it
Only to provide and improve the service: storing your projects so you can return to them, rendering previews, preparing exports and print files, running the features you ask for, and supporting your account. We do not sell your personal data or your content, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not use your uploaded images or documents to train AI models.
Your files
Files you upload are stored securely and used to produce the previews, exports and print packages you request. Please avoid uploading sensitive personal, medical, legal, or confidential third-party material unless you have the right to use it.
Generated content
When you choose to use an AI-assisted feature, the content you submit for that action is sent to the AI provider that performs it, to produce the result you asked for. Generated output is returned to your project for you to review, edit, or discard.
Screenshots you send to support
If you attach a screenshot in a chat with Sarah, it is stored privately against your account, and its contents are sent to the AI provider that answers you so it can see what you are describing. It is never published and has no shareable link. If your question is passed to our support team, the screenshot goes with it so you do not have to send it again. To have a support screenshot deleted, email support@booklaunchwizard.com.
Voice recordings and voice clones
If you create a voice clone, the recording you submit is sent to our voice provider, ElevenLabs, to create the voice, and is then deleted from our storage. The resulting voice clone is kept with ElevenLabs so you can use it for narration, until you ask us to delete it. Only create a clone of your own voice, or of a voice whose owner has given you explicit permission. To delete a voice clone, email support@booklaunchwizard.com.
Payments
Payments and card management are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. BookLaunchWizard does not see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan status and purchase history so we can support your account.
How you found us, and site analytics
When you visit BookLaunchWizard, the site keeps a small note in your browser's own storage for this site about how you arrived: the campaign tag in the link you followed (for example utm_source), the name of the website that sent you (not the full address), and the page you landed on. We use this only to understand which channels bring people to BookLaunchWizard, such as a search engine, a video or a newsletter. We count visits by that source and approximate country, without linking them to anyone. Once you are signed in, how you first and most recently found us is saved with your account, together with when you signed up and first made a purchase, so we can see which channels lead to customers. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party tracking tools for this, we do not follow you across other websites, and ad click identifiers are not stored. This information is kept for up to 13 months. For account security, we also keep a record of sign-ins with approximate location (city or region), device type and a shortened IP address for 90 days.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the platform, and they process data only as needed to provide their part of the service: Clerk (sign-in and account emails), Convex (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), OpenAI and Anthropic (AI writing, images, and the Sarah support assistant), ElevenLabs (narration and voice clones), and Pixabay and Pexels (image searches you run).
Your choices and rights
You can delete a book project from your account, which removes its manuscript, pages and cover. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to give you a copy of it, or to delete your account, saved media, audio, or voice clones, by emailing support@booklaunchwizard.com. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.
